Part of what I love about the girls' names is that they were both popular 100 years ago and many people with those names are now great-grandmas. Both names evoke a vision for me of sweet old ladies rocking away together on a porch. I pray Ella and Sadie will live meaningful lives full of love and will be enjoying each other on a front porch somewhere many years from now.

Painting

Yesterday Aunt Marissa cemented her position as super-cool aunt by inviting two 2 year olds over to finger paint. As you can see from the pictures, it was more like full-body painting which probably is the most fun thing Ella can imagine ever doing. She's been into watercolors lately but I haven't ventured into anything messier so thanks Aunt Marissa for letting her have so much fun and get so messy on your watch!

    Can Lexi please come play sometime :) We'll easily adopt Marissa into our family as the super cool Aunt, no problem. :)

    Corinne, maybe this summer we can put some paper outside and let them go to town! That way, messy is contained
