Part of what I love about the girls' names is that they were both popular 100 years ago and many people with those names are now great-grandmas. Both names evoke a vision for me of sweet old ladies rocking away together on a porch. I pray Ella and Sadie will live meaningful lives full of love and will be enjoying each other on a front porch somewhere many years from now.

Sisters

Ella and Sadie definitely fight, snatch toys and tell on each other but a lot of the time they are really sweet to each other. Sadie is getting old enough that Ella can really play with her as a worthy playmate and as Ella noted "Mom, she's not really a baby anymore!" :-) The best part of having two kids is seeing them love and take care of each other. So sweet!
