Part of what I love about the girls' names is that they were both popular 100 years ago and many people with those names are now great-grandmas. Both names evoke a vision for me of sweet old ladies rocking away together on a porch. I pray Ella and Sadie will live meaningful lives full of love and will be enjoying each other on a front porch somewhere many years from now.

Weather

So, you could say we've been having some varied weather around here in the last week...


Friday: 70 degrees, sunny.
Activity of the Day: Day at the Zoo!
(sad to say, I did not take this picture-forgot my camera that day!)

Tuesday: 30 degrees, 4 inches of snow
Activity of the Day: Snow Angels



Friday:  50 degrees, INSANE thunderstorms
Activity of the Day: Storm Watching (and holding hands to fend of any fear of the thunder)

    When I first saw that giraffe picture I was SO jealous that you got that close! Cute pic of Hannah and Ella. What a crazy storm that was!
