Part of what I love about the girls' names is that they were both popular 100 years ago and many people with those names are now great-grandmas. Both names evoke a vision for me of sweet old ladies rocking away together on a porch. I pray Ella and Sadie will live meaningful lives full of love and will be enjoying each other on a front porch somewhere many years from now.

Catalog Model?

People tell me I should get Ella into modeling. So far, the closest we've come is today when she climbed into the display at the Children's Place and gave hugs to the mannequins. She cracks me up!

    You're the best mom EVER. I totally would have been scolding my kids and trying to get them out of the display. Great pics.

    I have to ask though... what on EARTH is that cowboy looking ensemble on the right? please tell me that's a costume?
