Part of what I love about the girls' names is that they were both popular 100 years ago and many people with those names are now great-grandmas. Both names evoke a vision for me of sweet old ladies rocking away together on a porch. I pray Ella and Sadie will live meaningful lives full of love and will be enjoying each other on a front porch somewhere many years from now.

Ella's Photographic Trip around the house
The other day we gave Ella the camera and told her she could go around the house and take some pictures of whatever she wanted. Mostly she followed us around. Here are some of the results :-)
The bottom of Chris' foot-guess he needs some new socks... Us pretending to nap (apparently people's legs look really long when you're 3 feet tall) Raleigh's eye-very artistic composition :-) self-explanatory us :-)
It IS funny, the things kids view as fascinating. And you're right about their viewpoint. They see the underside of stuff: the counter, your chin, the doorknob, a lamp, your butt. Kids live in a different world.
She is TOO funny! What a great idea! Bean would LOVE that.
ReplyDeleteA photographer in the making!!
ReplyDeleteChristopher would about die of excitement if I let him do that. He'd probably take three hundred pictures too :)
